Title 1 is a federally funded program set in place to improve your child’s educational opportunities by helping them achieve success in their regular educational setting. Swan River School is a Title 1 school. In order to best serve students receiving support, Swan River School encourages parents/guardians/students and teachers to work as a team. As a school, we will:

- Support my child’s learning by doing nightly reading/math with him/her
- Have a quiet place to do homework
- Communicate regularly with my child’s teacher

As a teacher, I will:
- Help each student learn to their full potential
- Provide student and parents with information on student progress
- Show respect for each child and their family
- Provide many opportunities for success
- Focus on specific goals and concepts for each student
As a student, I will
- Do my best
- Ask questions when I’m not sure
- Make good choices in class, participate and stay engaged
- Show “Warrior Pride” in all that I do
